About the application


Skilled Employer Sponsored Regional (provisional) visa subclass 494

If you are applying for regional certifying advice for the Subclass 494 visa, you will be required to submit the following documents:

  • Letter of offer or employment contract which includes:
    • ANZSCO code of the nominated position;
    • salary and entitlements; and
    • any other conditions.
  • Form 1404 with questions one to ten completed.
  • Evidence the nominee will receive a salary equivalent to an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (Subclass 187)

Applications will only be accepted for RCB certification advice if you lodged your application with the Department of Home Affairs before 16 November 2019. Ensure you include the TRN number in your 1404 form as proof of lodgement.

The Department of Home Affairs requires the occupation to be listed on the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) or Regional Occupation List (ROL)
