The WA Migration Services team provides a range of services and information to help skilled migrants settle and work in We​stern Australia, and support to WA industry and employers seeking to build their workforce through skilled migration.

Migration Services team assisting clients

WA State nomination, and Certification for Regional visas

WA Migration Services processes nominations for eligible migrants for the Skilled Nominated and Regional (Provisional) Skilled Nominated visa categories, on behalf of the WA State Government.

Job Connect

Skilled Migration Job Connect (Job Connect) is a new initiative supporting migrants to overcome barriers to find and secure sustainable employment in WA's workforce.

Settlement Services

Settlement Services is an information and referral service provided to assist skilled migrants in establishing their life in Western Australia. They can assist with information including moving to WA, employment, education, and health.

Skilled Migrant Employment Register

The Skilled Migrant Employment Register is a free initiative supporting employers and skilled migrants to connect, to build the WA workforce.

Construction Migration Office

The Construction Migration Office is a new service, providing comprehensive support for the building and construction sector employers in Western Australia looking to hire skilled migrants, and for migrants seeking to move to WA to work in the sector.

Overseas Qualifications Unit

​The Overseas Qualifications Unit (OQU) assesses eligible qualifications gained overseas — including formal technical, vocational and higher education qualifications — to determine their comparability with Australian standards. This could help you to secure employment in Western Australia.
